4th West has one Community Coordinator (CC) and three Residential Life Assistants (RLAs) living on hall to support our residents during their time at NCSSM. Get to know a little bit about us here!

Hannah Davis (She, Her, Hers)
I graduated from Catawba College in 2017 with a B.A. in Communications and a double minor in Environmental Studies and Creative Writing. While in school, I was the editor-in-chief of my school newspaper and am always happy to give writing tips and edits for your students!
After college, I worked in I.T. developing training software for Oracle Cloud. I have also worked with multiple Environmental Education companies since graduating. Notably, I work as a contractor for the Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh for their large event days like Bugfest!
While working with a therapeutic wilderness camping program, I was able to canoe over 200 miles of the Neuse River and backpack over 50 miles of the Uwharrie National Forest with groups of teens.
My hobbies include whittling, video games, herping, baking, doodling, and identifying what weird critters my family member saw from the grainy photo they sent me.
In August of 2022, I had the opportunity to travel to The Galapagos Islands with National Geographic, and will be teaching a J-term course in January 2024 to take NCSSM students on the same journey of a lifetime!
My life-long goal is to be a part of the first colony on Mars.

Hi there! Welcome to 4th West! My name is Onur Tercioglu and I'm really excited to be one of your RLAs this year. I'm from Apex and I used to go to Apex High School. I love chemistry and math and am in the Research in Chemistry program. I'm a huge music person; I play trumpet in the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band, and I'm the Band President and also Drum Major for the Pep Band. For fun I like to play video games, board games (join the board game club!!), practice trumpet, watch YouTube, read, and hang out with friends. I had so much fun on 4th West last year and I hope I can make your time here as awesome as it was for me. 4W on Top!!

Hi! My name is Dominic Gianna and I will be one of your RLAs on 4th West this year! I'm from the Outer Banks and I went to First Flight Highschool. In the summer I am an Ocean Rescue lifeguard for Kill Devil Hills and volunteer at the Southern Shores Fire Department. At NCSSM I run cross country, play baseball, and I will be a captain for the swim team as well. Academically, I'm fascinated with physiology and would like to pursue a career in that field. Other hobbies I have include reading, cycling, weight lifting, crocheting, and yoga. I greatly enjoy the music of Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem. I'm super excited to meet everybody and have another great year on 4th west!

Hi! My name is Dylan Nason and I am very excited to be one of your 4th West RLAs this year. I am from Southern Shores, part of the Outer Banks. My home high school was First Flight High School before coming to NCSSM. Some of my interests include playing sports, hanging out with friends, playing video games, and listening to or playing music. Academically I am passionate about engineering, biology, and the High Powered Rocketry Club. I am excited to meet everyone and make fantastic memories this year.
